worth trying it out.

I type for a living and so I've been through plenty of keyboards and generally I pay double, or say 150, not below 100. This one is okay. I generally use blue keys, and so this is a different feel for me, using it right now, but it didn't take long to get used to. The layout is a bit different, too. After I found where to plug it in, it was literally ready immediately and worked. The instruction card included was appreciated. Overall, would I recommend it - well, if you're okay with the layout. All the functions work and have been. There is a difference in the volume, which I don't mind because I have a separate USB volume knob.

Fun to type on and feels great

This is great for the price. The keys make the perfect clacky sound. It makes it so much more fun and relaxing to type. The keys have good feedback and I have not found an issue yet. There are definitely better ones out there, but you’ll have to pay a lot more. The color backlight is great and easy to use. Definitely recommend for an entry level mechanical keyboard.

Great personalization

My daughter the gamer loves it and says it works perfectly, she especially likes the option to customize keys to suit your own needs.

A great keyboard

This is my first mechanical keyboard and I love it. The sound of typing is so much nicer to listen to than the standard island style chiclet keyboards. The keys are big and easy to hit - even though the total size is smaller the main keys are full sized which makes adjusting to it pretty seemless. The force to push the keys down seems really consistent and if it ever starts having issues, the switches are swappable making this really easy to fully repair. I haven't pulled off any keycaps or switches yet since I haven't needed to but it should be simple enough.I love the default dehavior (QWERTY layout, volume knob in the upper right) and haven't messed with customizing this at all but I really like that it's using a standard instead of some proprietary software for customizing. Also, it didn't require any drivers to work so I can use this when working from home on my company laptop which is a plus for me.The footprint size on my desk is also really nice. It's small enough t easily fit on my corner desk without taking up too much room. And the backlight defaults to a color wave which is fine by me. I can definitely see changing that someday but it's bright and easy to see in the dark. Plus it's a good way to tell if power is on to the keyboard.Overall a great keyboard. I'm quite impressed. I do wish it had a numpad and more standard layout for Home, Del, and Pg Up but that's my only complaint. And that wouldn't be possible with the small footprint so it's a tradeoff I'm okay with.

Nice aesthetics, but not sure it's worth the price

At first glance, the board looks nice, like any other TKL budget boards with similar layouts. But I'm not convinced that the price is justified, and hence is the primary reason for my 3/5 stars. I cannot judge this board on its merits alone when it is priced at almost double the price of other boards of similar quality, design and features. But let's look at some things:1. Gateron yellow switches - I have a special place in my heart for these switches, but they are very inexpensive at .23 cents per switches. They're smooth, a bit heavy feeling but are solid budget switches overall. But still, they'd only run you about 18-20 bucks depending on how you buy it.2. Keycaps - Decent shinethrough PBT...nothing much to write home about, but they feel fine.3. Connection location - It's located tucked away underneath the keyboard rather than just to the rear, where most ports are. This prevents you from being able to properly utilize certain cables as the inlet is narrow, and it's a hassle to get to for when you need to unplug. I am not a fan of this style of connection.4. Speaking of connection, it's wired only...come on, you really need to give us some value here. Tri-mode connections should be included in a board of this price.5. RGB pattern - it's fine. Looks good with the shinethrough keycaps.6. Stabilizers - Return key feels good. Every other stabilizer key sounds hollow.I also question the extras that the board comes with...you get the exact same knob in the same color...so why do we need two of the same knob? The keycap extras are standards for MAC users, and you get two Gateron G yellow switches. Really nothing special here.I absolutely cannot justify purchasing this board at its current price of $139.90. At best, this should be priced around 60-70 dollars. You'll also need to mod this board to get it sounding better than it does. It's not very pleasing to the ear out of the box. Compare this to brands like Yunzii and Akko, and this board comes in terribly short.
